Hazardous Waste Recycling Services

Since 1998, RPR Environmental has been in the business of providing various hazardous waste recycling services. We have taken it upon ourself to develop and adopt various methods of recycling hazardous waste through partnerships with many treatment, recycling, and disposal facilities.

It is important to us to further the recycling of hazardous materials. Recycling is less damaging to the environment after the material is neutralized and ready to be reprocessed for reuse with the help of a waste recycling centre.

Types of Hazardous/Flammable Chemicals
When it comes to packaging, handling, and transporting hazardous waste, there are a multitude of regulations that need to be followed prior to hazardous waste or garbage recycling.

The following list shows the various classes of hazardous materials:

  • Class 1: Explosives
  • Class 2: Gases
  • Class 3: Flammable Liquid and Combustible Liquid
  • Class 4: Flammable Solid, Spontaneously Combustible, and Dangerous When Wet
  • Class 5: Oxidizer and Organic Peroxide
  • Class 6: Poison and Poison Inhalation Hazard
  • Class 7: Radioactive
  • Class 8: Corrosive
  • Class 9: Miscellaneous

The improper handling or transporting of any of those materials could create a dangerous situation for personnel and cause potentially catastrophic damage to the environment.
